Lady Frances- is in a beautiful richly brocaded & dupion silk gown incorporating a typical Tudor stomacher. The high lace collar was fashionable with Tudor ladies, she also carries a luxurious silk velvet shawl. Her hair is dressed up and away from the forehead as Tudor fashion dictated – a high forehead was seen as a sign of beauty – I have added a pretty hair adornment which matches Lady Frances’s necklace. Shoes and undergarments are worn. This doll is displayed on a bespoke stand. The doll is made from porcelain with a soft body, 1/12th scale (5½" approx.) i.e. Dolls house size. Adult collectors only, NOT suitable for children under 14 years.
