Matilda- is dressed in a sumptuous silk damask gown, as befits the medieval era. Her skirt is extremely full with a framed underskirt to help create the shape. The bodice is made with the same silk and also shows the pretty lacy under-bodice. Matilda's hair is woven into a thick braid decorated with delicate threads and beads the pretty head dress finishes the look. Undergarments and shoes are worn. Matilda- is displayed on a bespoke stand, however, she can stand or sit. This doll is made from porcelain with a soft lower body 1/12th scale (5½" approx.) i.e. Dolls house size. Adult collectors only, NOT suitable for children under 14 years..
