Isabella is a Georgian beauty. Her gown is made up from 3 skirts – top skirt is of cotton in yellow with a tiny pattern, following this is a lush green silk with the under skirt being a deep bronze/gold silk which I have embroidered with a pretty flower, here you can also see her matching silk shoes with a typical Georgian buckle and bow. The bodice is trimmed with lace and silk ribbon as are the full sleeves. The wig is made from viscose with an attractive flower and feather hair adornment. Under garments are worn including a pannier which accentuates the gown’s shape. Isabella is made from porcelain with soft upper legs, and is approx. 5½” high. The doll is stood on a bespoke wooden stand secured by two prongs which insert into the bottom of her shows.
